I was elected to his first term on the Independence City Council in June 2020. I was born and raised in the rural community of Braymer, MO, located in Caldwell County. I graduated from Hardin Central High school and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University and an Associate’s Degree in Network Administration from Sanford Brown College.

I currently work as a Systems Analyst for Jackson County, MO where has been employed for the last seventeen years. I also works as a part-time Police Officer in a municipality located in Lafayette County, MO. I have worked in various capacities as a Law-Enforcement Officer since 2004 including at one point holding the rank of Chief of Police.

I am the father of two daughters, Ollie and Emeline.
